SKILLS IN ACTION (WORKSHOP)

The Skills in Action workshop centres on Agile, an adaptable and collaborative software development and project management approach. It emphasises iterative cycles, quick adjustments based on customer feedback, and delivering value in short increments. Understanding Agile is essential for efficient project management in dynamic business environments, prioritising adaptability and continuous improvement. Participants will get hands-on experience to practise agile in a real-world project environment, from the requirements phase to project demos to end users.

SKILLUP 2023

SKILLUP 2023 was a comprehensive professional development event designed to equip participants with the skills and resources essential for career success. Organized into four distinct phases, Skillup covered the spectrum of professional growth. Phase 1 focused on Research Mastery, providing a solid foundation in navigating and utilizing information effectively. In Phase 2, participants delved into the art of Crafting a Standout CV, learning to create compelling documents that set them apart in the competitive job market. Phase 3, titled Startup Success 101, immersed attendees in the essentials of navigating the entrepreneurial landscape. Finally, Phase 4, the CV Creation Lab, offered a hands-on opportunity for participants to refine their CVs with expert guidance. Skillup aimed to deliver a unique and engaging learning experience, empowering attendees to reach their full potential and thrive in their careers.
